Transforming Periods into Possibilities for Every Girl in East Africa.”

Inclusion and Diversity

At SISTA+, we believe dignity and opportunity must extend to ALL women and girls, including those living with disabilities. Period poverty affects them in even deeper ways, as access, affordability, and stigma often create additional barriers. Our initiatives are built on the values of inclusion and accessibility, ensuring our pads, training programs, and community outreach reach women of all abilities. We embrace diversity and empower women living with disabilities, restoring dignity and creating spaces where every woman can participate fully, contribute meaningfully with confidence.

At SISTA+ distribution of sanitary products is more than just giving pads—it’s a celebration of dignity, hope, and opportunity. Seeing the smiles on schoolgirls’ faces as they receive their kits fills our hearts with joy and reminds us why this work matters. Each pad we provide keeps a girl in school, strengthens her confidence, and allows her to dream bigger without fear or shame. Our joyful action is a powerful statement: girls deserve to learn, grow, and thrive, and together, we are making that possible, one pad at a time.

SISTA PLUS Sanitary Solutions

SISTA+ goes beyond producing pads. Every girl who stays in school, every woman who earns a livelihood, and every community that embraces sustainability becomes part of a lasting legacy of change. By addressing period poverty with dignity and innovation, we are breaking generational cycles of inequality and planting the seeds of opportunity for the future. Our work today is shaping a tomorrow where empowered girls grow into confident women, and sustainable solutions uplift entire communities across East Africa.
